On Wednesday, August 13th, we were made aware that Oberon Zell, co-Founder, Elder, Primate, and first Priest of CAW, recently underwent a colonoscopy. He has since gone through surgery and the pathology report results were that the cancer had metastasized outside of the original tumor, and he will be undergoing Chemo for the next few years. In addition, on the 18th of this month (September), one of our beloved members, FoxFyre Stormwarning will be undergoing a biopsy to see if the precancerous cells on her cervix are actually cancer or not. And has asked for Healing Energy as well. Chris Williams, President of CAW Australia, has also asked for healing energy for his daughter Michelle, who has been diagnosed with a severe Thyroid problem and who is undergoing tests as well.
We will therefore continue our tradition of having semi-monthly Rolling Thunder rituals for Healing near the Full and New Moons. This month we ask that your focus be on continued healing for Oberon, and for the best results for FoxFyre and Michelle. Please keep these members in your thoughts and prayers, and consider sending energy to their healing efforts as is appropriate.

On Wednesday, August 13th, we were made aware that Oberon Zell, co-Founder, Elder, Primate, and first Priest of CAW, recently underwent a colonoscopy. The result of the initial procedure was not what we had hoped for and expected. The doctors have found a golf-ball sized growth attached to the colon, which has been biopsied. On Thursday, August 14th, OZ had a meeting with his doctor, to discuss the results of the biopsy they did on the golf ball-sized tumor (lesion) they discovered. The Dr. advised them that the tumor is indeed cancerous, and colon cancer is aggressive and nasty. However, it is far enough up that it can be surgically removed along with about a foot of the descending colon (left side). He said that it appears to be less than a year old, so the chances of a complete removal of all cancerous tissue are excellent.
There is concern that some of the cancer cells may have migrated into OZ's lymph nodes, which would be a really serious problem, requiring radiation and chemotherapy. To help determine whether or not this may be the case, they took a few vials of blood for testing, and on Friday, August 15th OZ was scheduled for a CAT scan. The results of the blood work and the CAT scan are due on Thursday, August 21st, when OZ has an appointment with an abdominal surgeon to discuss upcoming surgery—which will be scheduled as soon as possible.
The best things about all this so far are that he caught this early enough that it should be completely operable; and at the same time, they’ll be able to repair an abdominal hernia which has been plaguing OZ for many years (perhaps a tummy-tuck as well).
However, the Dr also emphasized the importance of prayers and healing energy. Right now, to shrink and contain the tumor as much as possible, so that none of the cancer gets out into surrounding tissue or lymph nodes between now and the surgery. After OZ gets the results of the CAT scan and blood work, we'll try and update the site to let you know the status going into surgery. Then he’ll need all the healing energy he can get on the actual day of the surgery to ensure that everything goes perfectly.
